We believe and preach the Bible is the Word of God. We believe that the Bible is relevant and practical as the authority to live our lives by in our world today. Our goal, as a church, is to teach the Word of God, to worship our Lord and to reach our community with the good news that Jesus is the Savior of the world.

From the very beginning of Promise Land, we made the commitment to make ministering to people one of our top priorities. We want people to realize their importance by finding their place of service so that they can faithfully serve their Lord. We have never placed much emphasis on the number of people who attend, for we believe that it is Christ who builds His church. We believe if we will seek first to follow God's Word and to do His work, He will build His church.

CALLING ALL CHICK-FIL-A FANS:

Help support the Student Ministry of Promise Land Baptist Church!  We are raising funds to support students who are going on a mission trip to Montana in August. 

On Thursday, July 29th between the hours of 5 p.m. and 9 p.m, Chick-Fil-A on Roosevelt Blvd. will donate 20% of all sales to our Student Ministry.  Here's the catch...we will only receive the proceeds if you have the attached flyer with you when you make your purchase.  When you pay for your meal, simply turn your flyer into the cashier and she will do the rest. Please be aware that they will not have flyers at Chick-Fil-A or allow us to pass them out on the premisis. Please remember that you must bring it with you!
